The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, set amidst the splendor of Vermont’s scenic Green Mountains with 914 acres of mountain trails right in our backyard. Downhill Skiing

Beginning and experienced skiers alike can take advantage of our resort’s proximity to Vermont’s best trails. Bromley Mountain is just seven miles away, and Stratton Mountain is 17 miles from the resort.

Cross Country Skiing

Explore a variety of trails that wind through beautiful Vermont scenery. Trails are appropriate for cross country skiers of all abilities.

  • Viking Nordic  - 35 kilometers of trails for skiing  & snowshoeing just 20 minutes from Manchester.

  • Hildene - 8 miles of trails with ski & snowshoe rentals

Land Rover vehicle

Land Rover Experience

Whether this is your first time off road or you have plenty of experience away from the pavement, a lesson with Land Rover Experience Driving School cover the basics of expedition-style driving and mastering off-road obstacles such as steep ascents and descents, side-tilts, log and water crossings, rock crawls, and boulders. And, yes, it’s as fun as it sounds.

Sleigh Rides

Manchester and the surrounding areas offer several unforgettable sleigh ride experiences. Enjoy scenic wagon rides through the snow-capped Green Mountains. Weather dependent.

Ice Skating

Bring your own skates and glide & twirl on our new outdoor skating rink. For year round skating head to Olympic Sized Riley Rink , just a few minutes from the resort. Riley Rink also offers rental skates.

Please note our On Site Skating Rink will open weather & temperature permitting in December.

Snowshoeing

Many scenic trails are available for exploring in the winter, and we have the maps to get you there. Equipment Rental Options:

Tubing

Try a classic thrilling winter pastime at one of the local mountains. Simply hop on a tube and enjoy the ride, then get up and do it all over again.

Snowmobiling

There are miles and miles of snowmobile trails throughout the area providing access to the beautiful backcountry and breathtaking vistas.

Sledding             

Feel like a kid again. Whether you are five, fifteen or fifty! Simply grab one of our resort sleds and head out back to the sledding hill at Burr & Burton.

Equinox Resort's most popular employee, Golden Retriever, Cooper, Chief Happiness Officer. Cooper's tasks include greeting guests with the #EquinoxPawsUp greeting. Cooper will also concentrate his canine efforts on creating memories with all of our guests and making everyone feel at home.

Pick up your discs at Falcon Bar & some cocktails to go. Discs also can be picked up at the Front Desk during the day.
