Experience our challenging par-71, 6423-yard golf course set among the picturesque Green Mountains. Guests may make tee times upon confirming hotel reservations. Lessons are available.
Land Rover Experience
Learn the techniques of off-road driving in all conditions through the beautiful Green Mountains. Participants go through several challenges on different types of terrain based on their skill level. Book your experience on-line.
Orvis Fly Fishing School
Pick up a fly rod & let our instructors show you how to set up, select your fly, tie knots & more on our fully stocked casting ponds & the Battenkill River. Trips of two to four hours with up to two people are available.
Orvis Shooting School
Beginning and experienced shooters alike can learn new techniques with instruction based on the English Churchill method. Our complete shooting system is applicable to upland hunting, waterfowling and sporting clays.
Boating
Rent paddleboats and canoes at the beautiful Emerald Lake and Lake Shaftsbury. Or, try a leisurely canoe ride down the Battenkill River.
Bromley’s Sun Mountain Adventure Park
Well, why not look at the colors this year from a different perspective? From up above, perhaps? Bromley's aerial treetop adventure is the best fall canopy tour in Vermont. Bring the whole family for fun including New England’s longest zipline, alpine slide, climbing walls, mini-golf and much more. Open weekends through mid-October.

Hiking
Explore the trails of scenic Mt. Equinox, located within walking distance of the resort. The famous Appalachian and Long trails are also just four miles away. Nearby Merck Forest offers 2,900 acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds and streams.
Horseback Riding
Enjoy a one-hour scenic trail ride through the Green Mountains, just a 25-minute drive from our resort. Individual horseback riding is available by appointment.
Mountain Biking
Tour Manchester Village on a bicycle from our golf club or take a trek through the Equinox Preserve.

Equinox Resort's most popular employee, Golden Retriever, Cooper, Chief Happiness Officer. Cooper's tasks include greeting guests with the #EquinoxPawsUp greeting. Cooper will also concentrate his canine efforts on creating memories with all of our guests and making everyone feel at home.
