A nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and wise use of the wild plants on Equinox Mountain. From Equinox Pond and its gentle trails to rugged heights of stunted fir and spruce, the mountain has a stunning variety of natural habitats and places to wander. Hiking
Hiking is available on the trails of Mount Equinox, within walking distance of the resort. Also accessible are the Appalachian and Long trails, which are only four miles from the resort.Horseback riding
