The Spa at Equinox - Etiquette & FAQ
The luxurious Spa at Equinox is a true sanctuary where you can leave behind the cares of the world. Here are a few recommendations and tips to enhance your spa experience.
What should I wear?
We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing and do not bring your jewelry or valuables to the spa. A spa robe and slippers will be provided for your treatment. You may prefer to fully disrobe for your treatment, as our therapists are professionally trained in proper draping techniques to ensure your privacy and comfort.
When should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 20 minutes prior to your appointment to allow ample time to check in, change, shower and enjoy our steam room and relaxation lounge. Please note that should you arrive late, your treatment will end as scheduled, as a courtesy to the next guest.
Are there mandatory restrictions?
The spa environment is designed for our guests to relax and enjoy the silence. To help us achieve and maintain this atmosphere of tranquility, we ask you to speak softly and please note that cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the relaxation or treatment rooms.
Are there age requirements?
Guests must be 16 years of age or older to receive our spa services. Our spa facility is for adults only.
Can I make special requests?
When making your reservations, please state any preference you may have for a male or female therapist. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability. Please let your therapist know if you have any physical conditions he or she should be aware of for your well-being.
Are there any special considerations for pregnancy?
We suggest avoiding treatments using heat and deep pressure. Also, avoid the steam rooms, saunas, heated pool and whirlpools. The majority of our services can be received by the expectant mother with minor changes to the treatment. Please inform us so that the appropriate modifications can be made.
Is there a service charge?
For your convenience a 20% service charge is applied to your spa service.
What are the hours of operation?
The Spa at Equinox is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Treatments begin at 9 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.
What are the facility policies?
The Spa facility is complimentary to hotel guests 16 years and over. Guests 16 years and younger are welcome to the use of the pool and family locker room only. Non hotel guests are subject to a daily fee of $50 + tax, however, this fee will be waived with the purchase of any 50 minute treatment. There is a fee of $15 for classes, for both hotel and non-hotel guests. Non-hotel guests wishing to attend a class may do so with the purchase of a spa day pass.
When should I schedule to reserve my appointment?
We strongly recommend that you schedule spa appointments prior to your arrival at the resort. Reservations are subject to availability and must be guaranteed either with a credit card or a room reservation number. We recommend booking your spa services at least three weeks prior to your arrival by calling 802.362.7881

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Missing an appointment, canceling, or rescheduling an appointment within 24 hours will result in a fee assessed at the full value of the missed appointment.
