Introductory Lesson
This introduction provides the student a hands-on learning experience flying a trained Harris hawk.
Hawk Walk
During this session, guests free fly Harris hawks along The Equinox' scenic trails. Guests are required to have taken a lesson prior to participating in a Hawk Walk. The hawks follow from tree to tree returning to the gloved fist for rewards of meat.
Indoor "Winter" Introductory Lesson
In this hands-on introduction to the art of falconry, you are taught to handle a Harris hawk in the comfort of the hawk barn.
Spectators
For all activities, each handler can bring one spectator free of charge. Please see price chart below for additional spectator fees.

Shared-Hawk Introductory Lesson
With this option, guests can take turns to fly a hawk. A great way to leave your hands free to photograph your companion, but not miss out on such a unique experience. One hawk for 2 handlers ensures ample hands-on time.
Family Introductory Lesson with Hawk Walk
An Introductory Lesson and Hawk Walk for parties of 3 or 4 handlers at a discounted rate. A guaranteed private booking with shared hawks. Age and spectator rates apply.
Private Bookings
Ideal for those wanting a guaranteed private booking. Requires a minimum of 2 handlers per booking.

Country Pursuits offers a selection of group lessons and events to choose from, including the unique chance to learn about falconry and handle a hawk.
Hands-on Demonstration
An informal demonstration, with the opportunity for guests to handle and fly Harris Hawks. This is ideal for evenings prior to a 'Falconry for Groups" session. For larger groups, we can provide two instructors with Harris Hawks and a static display of an eagle.
